I love painting t-shirts and using several things in order to make my cloths more unique and impressive.(such as small piece of synthetic fur, feathers, sequins)
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS OF PAINTING
First I wash the garment separately by hand with a mild soap to allow for any initial shrinkage. Once dried, ironed and start painting.
At the end the garment needs at least two days to dry and then ironed from the reverse side for 3-4 minutes.
The t-shirts which have on them fur and feathers is better to be washed by hand.(cold water.)All the others without any special item on them can be wached in washing machine(30o C-40oC) with a mild soap and on delicate cycle. My policy is to create not only modern,cute t-shirts for our little babies in the same time qualitative items with non toxic colors, created in a smoke free environment.
Moreover, as in each drawing have been passed 2 or 3 layers color the back part of the drawing is not so soft as the rest of the cloth, for this reason I have sewed a special backram to protect child’s skin.
My cloths have also a hand painted label in shape of heart.
